Introducción:
La migraña se presenta en forma de crisis periódicas que cuando son intensas resultan inhabilitantes para el desempeño social y laboral. Se trata con medicación sintomática pero el efecto de los analgésicos no es inmediato y muchas veces resulta efímero. Por ello es de interés lograr una droga que permita su profilaxis o al menos que logre disminuir la frecuencia, intensidad y duración de los episodios.
