En Latinoamérica, los filtros solares son considerados cosméticos. Los productos prescritos por médicos habitualmente son de mayor costo y distribución farmaceútica. Encontramos que los filtros solares comerciales que son de un costo más accesible pueden cumplir con la finalidad de reducir las dosis de exposición solar en nuestra región.

En el estudio de no inferioridad Pazopanib versus Sunitinib in the Treatment of Locally Advanced and/or Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma (COMPARZ) compararon dos moléculas aprobadas para el tratamiento de primera línea de pacientes con cáncer renal avanzado o metastásico. El objetivo que estableció como hipótesis, fue el de demostrar la ausencia de inferioridad del pazopanib frente al sunitinib en términos de delta y en el análisis por ITT.
