CIRCUNFERENCIA DEL TRONCO COMO UNA MEDIDA DE LA GRASA EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL CUERPO DE MUJERES OBESAS CON SÍNDROME DEL OVARIO POLIQUÍSTICO

La medición de la circunferencia del tronco en las mujeres obesas con Síndrome del Ovario Poliquístico (SOP) fue propuesta para evaluar la grasa corporal en la parte superior del cuerpo. Se encontró una buena correlación con la grasa visceral, con la grasa del tronco, y con los niveles de triglicéridos. Es factible para evaluar la distribución de la grasa corporal en casos más graves de obesidad.
