DOSE PREDICTION ACCURACY OF ECLIPSE PHOTON DOSE CALCULATION ALGORITHMS

Acuros® XB is more accurate than pencil beam convolution (PBC) and anisotropic analytical algorithm (AAA) for photon dose calculations when tissue heterogeneities are involved along the photon beam path.
