IMPORTANCIA DAS ALTERAÇOES ANTROPOMETRICAS NA DOENÇA HEPATICA GORDUROSA NAO ALCOOLICA (DHGNA)

As alterações antropométricas mais freqüentes em pacientes com dhgna são obesidade e distribuição de gordura abdominal. Estas se associam com resistência à insulina e síndrome metabólica e esteato-hepatite. Por isso, índice de massa corporal e circunferência da cintura podem ser úteis para avaliar fatores de risco e prognostico nestes pacientes.
