Primer trabajo en el que se aplica la PCR cuantitativa en tiempo real al estudio de la etiología de la arteritis de células gigantes

POSIBLE IMPLICACION DEL PARVOVIRUS B19 EN LA ETIOPATOGENIA DE LA ARTERITIS DE CELULAS GIGANTES

El parvovirus B19 podría estar implicado en la etiopatogenia de la arteritis de células gigantes, principalmente en aquellos pacientes que muestran una alta carga viral; sin embargo, no encontramos ninguna evidencia a favor de la posible implicación del virus de la varicela zóster y el virus herpes humano 6.
