El trabajo contribuye a destacar la relación no casual entre microangiopatía trombótica y nefropatía por IgA.

NEFROPATIA POR IGA Y MICROANGIOPATÍA TROMBÓTICA

Las microangiopatías trombóticas incluyen un amplio rango de enfermedades sistémicas o limitadas al riñón, de diversa etiología y presentación clínica variable. Entre las múltiples asociaciones se hallan las glomerulopatías; la nefropatía por IgA es la más frecuentemente informada. Este artículo hace hincapié en la asociación de ambos trastornos.
