Taoyuan, Taiwán (Republica Nacionalista China): En los últimos años ha surgido preocupación por el posible riesgo de enfermedad pulmonar intersticial (EPI) en pacientes tratados con anticoagulantes orales directos. El estudio realizado con una amplia cohorte de pacientes con fibrilación auricular no valvular revela riesgo aumentado de aparición de EPI en relación con el uso de inhibidores del factor Xa, respecto de warfarina, en diversos subgrupos de enfermos de riesgo alto.
