POSIBLES ASOCIACIONES ENTRE EL SOBRECRECIMIENTO BACTERIANO EN INTESTINO DELGADO Y EL SÍNDROME DE INTESTINO IRRITABLE CON DIARREA COMO SÍNTOMA PREDOMINANTE

Chongqing, China: El sobrecrecimiento bacteriano en el intestino delgado se asocia con el síndrome de intestino irritable con diarrea como síntoma predominante, posiblemente por alteraciones de la microbiota intestinal. Los resultados del presente estudio sugieren una participación de Prevotella en los síntomas gastrointestinales de ambas entidades y aporta evidencia que vincula a los dos trastornos.
