EVALUATION OF THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF CIRCUMFERENTIAL TRACHEAL SCAFFOLDS

Long segment tracheal resections require surgical intervention. A tissue-engineered trachea composed of a decellularized matrix offers a solution to this problem. In this paper we analyzed the compliance, extracellular matrix components and immunogenicity of long segments segments decellularized using different techniques.
