Leprosy Review is a medical journal specifically about leprosy. It is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by LEPRA (The British Leprosy Relief Association).
The main aim of the journal is that it should contribute to the better understanding of leprosy and its control. Original papers on all aspects of leprosy, including research are included. In addition, Leprosy Review seeks to publish information of education value which is of direct benefit to the control of leprosy under field conditions, and hence to the individual person affected by it. The journal aims to interpret what is being done in other disciplines, particularly for field workers.

Mediators of Inflammation is committed to the rapid publication of high quality international articles. Whilst not neglecting any of the earlier known mediators such as histamine, bradykinin, prostaglandins, leukotrienes and PAF, Mediators of Inflammation focuses on research into cytokines (tumour necrosis factors, interleukins, interferons), biological response modifiers and the family of cell adhesion-promoting molecules. In addition, particular emphasis is placed upon papers documenting research into the interactions between the various mediators.
Mediators of Inflammation welcomes submission of original and fundamental research articles on all aspects of cellular mediators. The journal publishes timely, critical reviews of topics related to medicinal research, broadly defined, to which the authors have made significant contributions. Appropriate topics include, but are not limited to, the underlying pathophysiology of important diseases and disease vectors; therapeutic approaches to the treatment of various diseases; the properties of molecular targets for therapeutic agents; important new methodologies facilitating the search for therapies; genomics and proteomics; structure-activity correlations of drug series; the development of new imaging and diagnostic tools; drug metabolism; drug delivery; and chemical, pharmacological, pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic, and clinical characteristics of important drugs. Reviews are mainly solicited by the editors; however, voluntary contributions are also encouraged. In the latter case, potential authors are asked to contact the Editor-in-chief with an outline before beginning to write in order to avoid duplication of effort and to ensure suitability of the topic and the level of coverage.

The Memórias do Instituto Oswaldo Cruz is an international journal of biological and biomedical research published by the Instituto Oswaldo Cruz (Oswaldo Cruz Institute) and welcomes original contributions from research scientists throughout the world. It publishes 8 regular numbers and one suplement a year.
Founded in 1909, through the visionary ideals and dedicated effort of Oswaldo Cruz himself, it is today one of the most highly cited journals published in Latin America.
The journal has gradually changed from publishing only the results of research produced by the Institute to become an international research journal.

welcomes manuscripts for consideration that report new information on drug action or selective toxicity at the molecular level. These may include, for example, studies of receptors, signaling, pathways, enzymes, channels, and transcriptional mechanisms. Studies that report the development of novel reagents or technologies that are of broad applicability or yield new molecular insights are also encouraged.
