Since 1971 JJCO was established in 1971 as the first journal
from Japan to publish clinical research on cancer in English. It was a
biannual journal for the first 11 years, and as the number of
submissions increased, it became quarterly in 1983 and bimonthly in
1991. Since 1998, the JJCO has been published monthly.
It has been indexed in Index Medicus and MEDLINE since 1983, and
approximately 60% of the submissions come from outside Japan. Since the
Oxford University Press (OUP) became our publisher in 1997, JJCO has a
sister-journal relationship with the Journal of the National Cancer
Institute. The current impact factor for JJCO is 0.799.
JJCO is published not only in hardcopy but also in
electronic form on the Internet from volume 27. It is now a
HighWire-based journal and articles can be accessed via OUP database.
All articles become freely accessible 6 months after publication.

Journal
of Dermatological Sciences
The Official Journal of the
Japanese Society for Investigative Dermatology
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 08/2006-
The Journal of Dermatological Science publishes high quality
peer-reviewed manuscripts covering the entire scope of dermatology,
from molecular studies to clinical investigations. Laboratory and
clinical studies which provide new information will be reviewed
expeditiously and published in a timely manner.
The Editor and his Editorial Board especially encourage the publication
of research based on a process of bilateral feedback between the clinic
and the laboratory, in which incompletely understood clinical phenomena
are examined in the laboratory and the knowledge thus acquired is
directly reapplied in the clinic. This continuous feedback will refine
and expand our understanding of both clinical and scientific domains.
Although the Journal is the official organ of The Japanese Society for
Investigative Dermatology, it serves as an international forum for the
work of all dermatological scientists. With an internationally renowned
Editorial Board, the Journal maintains high scientific standards in the
evaluation and publication of manuscripts.

collates and analyzes research findings relative to practice issues and
intervention approaches over a given period of time. It can help you
make the most of your time and effort as you weigh current evidence
options and determine which one serves your clients' best interests and
leads to the desired outcome.
Edited by Dr. Marvin D. Feit, the founding editor of the Journal of
Health & Social Policy (Haworth) and the Journal of Human
Behavior in the Social Environment (Haworth), the Journal of
Evidence-Based Social Work: Advances in Practice, Programming, Research
and Policy is a unique resource for social work practitioners,
clinicians and educators, mental health professionals, and counselors
seeking to add a research base to confirm their practice observations
or to substantiate “things that work.” It will help
sharpen your evaluation skills and diagnostic techniques, and help you
design effective treatment procedures as you work to develop
longitudinal studies, systematic reviews, qualitative studies,
cause-and-effect reviews, and comparison studies. The journal will also
provide support for your work with:
-outcomes measurement
-performance measurement
-performance management
-continuous quality improvement
-practice guidelines
-assessments and interventions
-and much more!
The Journal of Evidence-Based Social Work: Advances in Practice,
Programming, Research, and Policy is an essential resource for
expanding your practice or your practical knowledge on the application
of evidence-based theory in social work.

Editor:
Denis G. Baskin
University of Washington and VA Medical Center
The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry,
the official Journal of the Histochemical Society, publishes papers
that report the development of new histochemical and cytochemical
methods, significant modifications of existing techniques, or original
research in which histochemical and cytochemical methods make a
significant contribution. Histochemistry and cytochemistry include (but
are not limited to) biochemical, biophysical, and molecular analyses of
the functional or structural components of tissues or cells in which
the data have been obtained primarily by microscopy. Manuscripts are
invited from all fields of biology, pathology, cellular and molecular
biology. Highest priority is given to papers that use state-of-the-art
histochemical and cytochemical methods to obtain significant new
biochemical information about cell function and gene expression in
normal, genetically altered, and pathological states. Articles that
describe new histochemical and cytochemical methods are of interest,
particularly when they are shown to provide crucial new data of current
interest to the fields of cell and developmental biology or pathology.
Manuscripts receive prompt attention under the supervision of the Journal's Editors,
who are distinguished scientists with broad expertise in diverse areas
of histochemistry and cytochemistry.

Provide your clients or
students with current, reliable prevention/education information
This politically and academically relevant international journal
focuses on the impact and implications of the epidemic on children and
adolescents. The Journal of HIV/AIDS Prevention In Children &
Youth (retitled from the Journal of HIV/AIDS Prevention &
Education for Adolescents & Children to better reflect its
focus) rightfully calls attention to the fact that throughout the world
HIV/AIDS reaches the most unlikely, unsuspecting, and most vulnerable
members of societies. Taking a multidisciplinary, holistic approach,
this journal addresses HIV/AIDS as a public health issue, bringing
public and professional attention to HIV/AIDS and children within the
context of social justice and the need for social change.
Subscribers to the Journal of HIV/AIDS Prevention In Children &
Youth will find:
-assessments of curricula, prevention, outreach programs, and
prevention models
-case studies of prevention efforts
-examinations of ethical issues related to conducting research on
children and youth
-coverage of ongoing and completed research projects
-reviews and evaluations of technological resources and media for
researchers and practitioners
-information on national/international conferences
-interviews with notable scholars and activists
-spotlight articles on various social categories (gay youth, ethnic
minorities, immigrants, etc.) or on specific regions or countries
By combining information based on research, theory development, public
policy, and professional practice with contributions from the personal
experiences of caregivers, parents, and children, this journal balances
the professional and scholarly side of HIV/AIDS with the human side of
the HIV/AIDS experience.
