With the internationalization or globalization in the research environment, it was decided to change the Journal title to Journal of Pharmacological Sciences commencing from 2003, targeting more contributors and readers from all over the world. This Journal has been distributed as an on-line version since 2002, ensuring its rapid distribution to an international audience.
The Journal is supported in part by a Grant-in-Aid for Publication of Scientific Research Results from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS).

This Journal is a publication of the Society for Academic Surgery and Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto Nigeria. The aim of Journal is to advance surgical knowledge and practice by promoting the reporting of innovative and reproducible surgical techniques and illustrative surgical cases on various surgical disciplines. The journal encourages authoritative synthesis of current surgical literature and practice and will serve as a source of material on evidence based knowledge about current acceptable surgical techniques. It will serve as a medium for experts to detail how they do it. The journal will accommodate case reports, case series and reviews of surgical techniques with potentials to illustrate management of surgical cases or to advance new frontiers in surgical technique. It will provide a quarterly medium for communication and continuing surgical education and debate among surgeons and surgical trainees.
Techniques are universal and one technique may be applicable across different subspecialties. The Journal will provide an opportunity for surgeons from different specialties to cross breed ideas on surgical techniques. A concentrated readership on surgical techniques will provide surgeons with an environment to explore the ever-increasing world literature on creative techniques.
Many journals sternly restrict case reports. There are many surgeons with interesting and illustrative case reports from which much can be learnt. The gates here are open.
Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto, Nigeria is very famous for sponsoring establishment and maintenance of indexed scientific Journals. The hospital has in its strategic plans, the dissemination of Medical knowledge for the benefit of mankind.

The Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry is devoted to the publication of research papers covering all aspects of mass spectrometry. Papers from all fields of scientific inquiry in which mass spectrometry can play a role will be considered. These fields include chemistry, physics, geology, and environmental science as well as the biological, health, and life sciences.
The journal is intended to be comprehensive, and its aim is to publish papers on both fundamentals and applications of mass spectrometry. Fundamental subjects include, but are not restricted to, instrumentation principles, design, and demonstration, structures and chemical properties of gas-phase ions, studies of thermodynamic properties, ion spectroscopy, chemical kinetics, mechanisms of ionization, theories of ion fragmentation, cluster ions, and potential energy surfaces. Application papers should have as a principal focus the use of mass spectrometry to solve a qualitative or quantitative problem. Application subjects include, but are not limited to, structural elucidation, biopolymer sequencing, development or validation of new methodology, and environmental and forensic measurements. Papers describing computer applications will be considered, but details and compilations of programs will not be published. In addition to full papers, the journal will publish Communications, Application Notes, and Accounts and Perspectives. Although Accounts and Perspectives will typically be invited by the editor, proposals may be submitted in advance of preparing the article.
