Connective Tissue Research
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2009-
Editor: Arthur Veis
Connective Tissue Research is to present original and significant research in all basic areas of connective tissue and matrix biology. The journal also provides topical reviews and, on occasion, the proceedings of conferences in areas of special interest at which original work is presented. The complexity of connective tissues requires that the journal support an interdisciplinary approach; we therefore present a variety of perspectives from different disciplines, including biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, immunology, structural biology, biophysics and biomechanics. The tissues of interest are bone, cartilage, dentin, skin, tooth and tendon, as well as the eyes, the vascular system, the kidneys and other connective tissue component-rich organs. The processes of growth, development, aging, tissue remodeling, wound healing, and biomineralization are all appropriate topics for discussion. It is our hope that this collection of varied but related presentations will inform, stimulate and broaden the outlooks of individual specialists interested in current connective tissue research.

Critical Care and Shock
Indonesian Society of Critical Care Medicine y otros
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2004-
Editor: Simon Nanlohy
Critical Care and Shock has its origin in the regular discussions of a small circle of intensivists from the US, Europe, Japan, and Indonesia who pioneered the international conference of critical care medicine, better known as the Indonesian-International Symposium on Shock and Critical Care, which is held annually in Indonesia since 1994. It was thought at that time that it would be worthwhile to publish a journal in critical care medicine as part of the effort to support and promote the annual conference and to share the latest advances in critical care with the potential readers in Western Pacific region that might complement favorably to the conference.
The first issue of Critical Care and Shock appeared in June 1998 featuring the articles mostly from the guest speakers of the annual Indonesian-International Symposium on Shock and Critical Care.
From its beginning Critical Care and Shock has been the official journal of the Indonesian Society of Critical Care Medicine. By 1999, at the Council meeting of Western Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine (WPACCM), it was approved to adopt Critical Care and Shock as the official journal of WPACCM.Also, as of the February issue of 2001, Critical Care and Shock has become the official journal the Philippines Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Critical Reviews in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2008-
Editor: Michael M. Cox
The disciplines of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology have greatly advanced in the last quarter century. This new knowledge has made significant contributions to the advancement of a wide range of subjects including medicine, genetics, immunology, developmental biology, and biophysics. Investigators in a wide range of disciplines increasingly require an appreciation of the significance of current biochemical and molecular biology advances. Likewise, members of the biochemical and molecular biology community seek understanding of advances in areas remote from their own specialties.

Critical Reviews in Biotechnology
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2008-
Editor: Graham G. Stewart
Biotechnological techniques, from fermentation to genetic manipulation, have become increasingly relevant to the food and beverage, fuel production, chemical and pharmaceutical, and waste management industries. Consequently, academic as well as industrial institutions need to keep abreast of the concepts, data, and methodologies evolved by continuing research.
This journal provides a forum of critical evaluation of recent and current publications and, periodically, for state-of-the-art reports from various geographic areas around the world. Contributing authors are recognized experts in their fields, and each article is reviewed by an objective expert to ensure accuracy and objectivity of the presentation.

Critical Reviews in Oncology / Hematology publishes scholarly, critical reviews in all fields of oncology and hematology, and reviews and original research articles in the field of geriatric oncology. Most of the reviews are written on invitation. All reviews and original research articles are subject to peer review before final acceptance.
Authors who wish to submit reviews to the Journal are requested to submit a short synopsis of their chosen subject to the Editor, and to indicate the deadline by which they expect to submit their final manuscript. Authors of original research articles are requested to submit their manuscripts directly to the Editor. Further information regarding the submission of manuscripts and guidelines for the preparation of the manuscripts can be found in the Guidelines for Authors.

Critical Reviews in Toxicology
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2006-
Editor: Roger O. McClellan
From subjects that form the advancing frontiers of toxicology to those that make up the core of some of the most complex and intractable problems in toxicology, CRITICAL REVIEWS IN TOXICOLOGY has the field covered. This journal provides objective analyses of crucial topics related to the mechanisms, responses, and assessment of toxicants. Articles include coverage of commodity and specialty chemicals such as formaldehyde, acrylonitrile and pesticides; pharmaceutical agents of all types; consumer products such as macronutrients and food additives; and environmental agents such as ozone and dioxin.
Toxicological responses reviewed include effects ranging from subtle physiological alterations to overt toxicity manifested in major systems, i.e., respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, urogenital, musculoskeletal, nervous, hematopoietic and immunological. Particular attention is given to cancer and developmental effects as responses of special societal concern.
Mechanisms of action at all levels of biological organization are addressed - from macromolecules and cells up to integrated organisms and populations of laboratory animals and people.

Current Opinion in Biotechnology
BB SIIC. Ingreso: 2005-
Editor: Martin Rosenberg
The Current Opinion journals were developed out of the recognition that it is increasingly difficult for specialists to keep up to date with the expanding volume of information published in their subject. In Current Opinion in Biotechnology, we help the reader by providing in a systematic manner:
1. The views of experts on current advances in biotechnology in a clear and readable form.
2. Evaluations of the most interesting papers, annotated by experts, from the great wealth of original publications
Division of the subject into sections: The subject of biotechnology is divided into themed sections, each of which is reviewed once a year. The amount of space devoted to each section is related to its importance.
Analytical biotechnology • Plant biotechnology • Food biotechnology • Environmental biotechnology • Systems biology • Protein technologies and commercial enzymes • Biochemical engineering • Tissue and cell engineering • Chemical biotechnology • Pharmaceutical biotechnology
Selection of topics to be reviewed: Section Editors, who are major authorities in the field, are appointed by the Editors of the journal. They divide their section into a number of topics, ensuring that the field is comprehensively covered and that all issues of current importance are emphasised. Section Editors commission reviews from authorities on each topic that they have selected.
Reviews: Authors write short review articles in which they present recent developments in their subject, emphasising the aspects that, in their opinion, are most important. In addition, they provide short annotations to the papers that they consider to be most interesting from all those published in their topic over the previous year.
