EL TENOFOVIR DISOPROXIL FUMARATO, EN MONOTERAPIA O COMBINADO CON EMTRICITABINA, ES BIEN TOLERADO POR LOS PACIENTES CON ENFERMEDAD HEPÁTICA DESCOMPENSADA DEBIDA A HEPATITIS B CRÓNICA

Kaohsiung, Taiwán (Republica Nacionalista China): La hepatitis B crónica puede dar lugar a una enfermedad hepática descompensada, la cual cuenta con pocas opciones terapéuticas. Entre estas opciones se encuentra el tenofovir disoproxil fumarato que, en monoterapia o en combinación con emtricitabina, tiene una buena tolerabilidad en comparación con el entecavir, además de ser eficaz para el tratamiento.
