LA ENFERMEDAD SIFILITICA DEL OIDO INTERNO SIMULA LOS TRASTORNOS INMUNOLOGICOS

Para el diagnóstico de la enfermedad sifilítica del oído interno se requiere una clínica cocleolaberíntica sugestiva asociada a positivad en test FTA-ABS repetidos. La fisiopatología de la enfermedad sifilítica es muy similar en ciertos aspectos a la de la enfermedad iunmunomediada del oído interno, por lo que su diagnóstico es a veces difícil, pero como las lesiones que produce son reversibles se precisa una rápida instauración de tratamiento esteroideo asociado o no a penicilinas.
