Protocolo de avaliação anatomopatológica do linfonodo sentinela que inclue cortes semiseriados

ALTA ACURÁCIA NA DETECÇÃO DE MICROMETÁSTASES DE CARCINOMA DE MAMA EM LINFONODO SENTINELA

A análise histológica do linfonodo sentinela através de um protocolo de cortes semi-seriados em dois níveis corados pelo HE e pela técnica da IHC utilizando anticorpos anticitoqueratina apresenta alta acurácia em predizer o status linfonodal em câncer de mama. A aplicação desta metodologia aumenta a taxa de detecção de micrometástases em relação a análise histológica de rotina de todos linfonodos axilares.
