O trabalho desenvolvido demonstra a importância de reavaliar os protocolos convencionais para a criopreservação eficiente de sistemas celulares complexos, tais como culturas primárias de neuroesferas.

ENCAPSULAÇÃO EM ALGINATO COMO NOVA ESTRATEGIA PARA A CRIOPRESERVAÇÃO DE NEUROESFERAS

Culturas primárias de neuroesferas de células do cérebro são modelos in vitro valiosos para neurotoxicologia e investigação fundamental. Neste trabalho foi desenvolvida uma estratégia integrada que permite a cultura por tempo prolongado e criopreservação de neuroesferas com elevada viabilidade e reduzido tempo de recuperação após o descongelamento.
