Identificación de factores serológicos implicados en la esteatosis hepática y su progresión a esteatohepatitis.

IL-6 E IGF-1 COMO FACTORES PRONOSTICOS DE ESTEATOSIS HEPATICA Y DE ESTEATOHEPATITIS NO ALCOHOLICA EN PACIENTES CON OBESIDAD MORBIDA

El análisis multivariado identificó los niveles de glucosa superiores a 110 mg/dl, los de Il-6 mayores de 4.81 pg/ml y de IGF-1 inferiores a 130 ng/ml, además de un HOMA superior a 4.5 e IGF inferior a 110 ng/ml como factores predictivos independientes del grado de esteatosis hepática y de esteatohepatitis en los pacientes con obesidad mórbida.
