Es el trabajo publicado con el tamaño de muestra más grande en el estudio del gen del DRD4 en el trastorno obsesivo compulsivo.

EL GEN DEL RECEPTOR DOPAMINERGICO D4 SE ASOCIA AL TRASTORNO OBSESIVO COMPULSIVO

El gen del DRD4 parece identificar diferencias por sexo en la evolución del TOC, ya que los hombres presentan una mayor frecuencia de alelos largos; además, los pacientes que presentan comorbilidad con tics, muestran de manera más común el alelo de 6 repetidos.
