CARACTERIZACION DE UNA NUEVA ESPECIE DE LEVADURA CANDIDA NIVARIENSIS

La nueva especie de levadura, denominada Candida nivariensis, puede ser fácilmente diferenciada de Candida glabrata, de la que genéticamente se halla muy próxima. La utilización de diferentes pruebas fenotípicas, como la fermentación de la trehalosa y el color de la colonia en CHROMagar y el análisis mediante PCR de las regiones ITS y el dominio D1/D2 del 26S del ARNr nos ha permitido la descripción de Candida nivariensis.
