O presente trabalho foi idealizado com o objetivo de pesquisar a prevalência de parasitoses em áreas publicas e a elaboração de métodos adequados para a prevenção e controle.

A frequência de diferentes parasitos em locais de lazer e recreação possibilita a infecção humana, pois o ambiente constitui um importante foco de contaminação. É importante que a população seja orientada quanto à necessidade de tratar os animais domésticos visto que são disseminadores de parasitos causadores de zoonoses.
